I did one for the last day of 2018, looking at the horizon towards 2019.
Now it’s been 5 months into 2019 and I have accomplished some things from that list already.
(you can find the list here)
These lists are to inspire you to make your own lists just to show yourself how far you have come and how much more you can do.
Accomplishments
You will see some gone from the last list (because they are from last year), and you’ll see some have changed.
- Finished the first/second drafts of “The Choice of Aurvandil” (previously The Scepter of Tamido) Book 1 and 2.
- Finished the first draft of “The Puppeteer Series“
- Finished the first draft of “The Façade of Quad in Nimrod“
- Wrote the first draft of three books in the same series (secret project)
- Leveled up my covermaking skills EVEN MORE
And that’s it!
Goals
So now, the goals for the rest of this year and beyond.
- Finish “The Scepter of Tamido” first round of editing by the next Wattys. Going pretty smoothly so far.
- After “The Scepter of Tamido” is all edited up, go back and fix “Red, White, or In Between”.
- Continue secret series project bit by bit.
- Reach poem number 800.
- Continue a different secret project. I have a bunch of projects.
And that’s it!
Anyway, try to make your own list of accomplishments and goals. Don’t add things that aren’t fun (like exams or looking for a job) or you will never want to look at the list again. Just write down fun goals.
